Chameleon Software, LLC (“Breakwater,” “we”) operates the Chameleon ERP web application, the Chameleon Tablet Android application, and the breakwateros.com marketing site (collectively, “the Services”). The Services are operated as an internal business tool for the maritime ship-supply industry.

Information We Collect

Account information. Email address and tenant membership when you sign in via Microsoft, Google, magic link, or test-mode access.
Operational records. Pick-list activity, picked quantities, purchase-order data, invoices, and timestamps tied to your signed-in user, scoped to the tenant you operate within.
Photos. Pallet-approval and proof-of-delivery photos captured inside the Chameleon Tablet App. Photos are uploaded to our servers and stored against the warehouse voyage they belong to.
Contact form submissions. Name, email, and any free-text content you provide when you request a demo or contact us through breakwateros.com.
Technical data. Standard request logs (IP, user-agent, timestamp) used for security, debugging, and abuse prevention.

How We Use It

To deliver the core functionality of the Services — quoting, purchase orders, picking, photo capture, delivery tracking, invoicing.
To respond to demo requests and customer support inquiries.
To detect abuse, debug issues, and improve reliability.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.

Mobile App Permissions

The Chameleon Tablet Android app requests the following permissions:

CAMERA — required to capture pallet-approval and proof-of-delivery photos inside the App. Photos are taken only when you tap a capture control; the camera is never accessed in the background.
READ_MEDIA_IMAGES — required to load the photo immediately after capture so it can be uploaded to the appropriate voyage record.
INTERNET — required to communicate with our backend at chameleonerp.us.

Data Retention & Deletion

Photos and operational records are retained for the lifecycle of each voyage’s quote/PO record. Tenant-level deletion follows the parent Chameleon ERP retention policy. Individual users may request deletion of their account and associated records by contacting us at the email below.

Data Storage & Security

Data is stored on Amazon Web Services in the United States. Photos are stored in Amazon S3 with private access; URLs are presigned and time-limited. We use TLS for data in transit. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel.

Third-Party Services

We rely on these processors to operate the Services:

Amazon Web Services (hosting + storage)
Supabase (authentication + database)
Microsoft Identity Platform / Google OAuth (sign-in)
Anthropic and OpenAI (AI processing of quote and PO documents)

Children’s Privacy

The Services are intended for business use and are not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
